Dr. Ather recently moved to Virginia from Texas and is currently residing in Richmond. Apart from dentistry, Dr. Ather loves spending time with her husband and son. As a family, they love travelling and exploring new places, new cuisines and having a fun time.

Dr. Alaa Elamin attended Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in California where she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Before that, Dr. Elamin completed her dental education at the University of Khartoum, Sudan, and followed with a Master of Public Health degree in Izmir, Turkey. Dr. Elamin continues to learn and continue her education to provide the best dental care for her patients. During her free time, Dr. Elamin enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her family as well as traveling and learning about different cuisines, cultures, and music.
